Waiting

Hello Everyone,

Only five days until Christiana’s due date!  About four months until our target date to leave for Cambodia!

It is pretty mind boggling to think of all the changes that are about to take place in our lives.  And especially since much of the changes are just waiting to happen.  I don’t have a lot of control of when, or in what way.  I just have to wait.

“My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him” (Psalm 62:5).

What a precious thought to mediate on.  Especially during this time of waiting, for in fact, I should be waiting on God at all times, never doing things on my own initiative.  Jesus echo’s the psalmist: “I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me” (John 5:30).  I have much to learn and grow that I might be conformed into the image of Christ!

Please keep us in prayer during this time of waiting, and anticipation of change!  Pray that Christiana and baby would be healthy, and that our moving and setup costs as well as our monthly support would be met so that we can depart in January.
