Jesus made it clear that the Church would be built, and nothing would hold it back! The Great Commission lived out by the Apostles, as seen in the Book of Acts, points to a philosophy of ministry that focused on evangelism and discipleship but always connected to the local Church. Most of you know that our ministry is directly linked with the local church here in Cambodia, primarily through Shalom Mission to Cambodia. Our commitment to the Church stems from the firm belief that God primarily works in and through local groups of Believers who come together to worship, study the Word, fellowship and mobilize to share their own faith with those in their spheres of influence. Daren and Jodi currently serve with ACTION in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Previously Daren served for six years on staff as Missions Pastor at West Hill Community Church in Morgan Hill, California. They arrived in 2003 to serve long term in Cambodia, They are blessed by four children, Mikaela (3/17/1997), Kamryn (4/7/2000), CJ (9/12/2002), and Andrew Joel (1/4/2005). They are are very excited about the privilege of serving the Khmer people in the name of Christ!
